Title: Namibians take to polls in elections
--------------------

Windhoek - Namibians will between today and Sunday be voting in the country's presidential and parliamentary elections.

The voting will last two days and will end on Saturday.

The voters began casting their votes at 7am local time on Friday and polling stations will close at 9pm. The polling stations will remain open on Saturday.

In the general elections, each voter gets two ballots, one for choosing a candidate for presidency and another for choosing a party for parliament.

South West African People's Organisation is a favourite to win the election. The party led the nation's fight for independence and has been in power since 1990. - BuaNews-Xinhua
