Title: Limpopo communities to learn more about govt's plans

By Silas Nduvheni

Thohoyandou - Limpopo residents will be able to ask questions about government's programmes when Deputy Minister in the Presidency Obed Bapela visits Thohoyandou on Friday.

Bapela will engage community members and discuss plans that President Jacob Zuma mentioned in his State of the Nation Address (Sona).

"The deputy minister... will address communities in Limpopo's Vhembe region about popularising government's programmes and plans through the recent presidential State of the Nation Address," said Government Communication and Information System director in Limpopo Thanyani Ravhura.

Ravhura said the Sona information seminars would be held in each of the five districts in Limpopo.

"Every year at the opening of Parliament, the President of the country delivers an important speech... and we install big screens in various places, but only young and educated people can view it.

"With seminars such as these, we now afford various stakeholders an opportunity to engage on the President's articulation of government priorities and plans and to find ways of collaborating with government in the implementations of the plans," Ravhura said. - BuaNews
