Pretoria - Puleng Sejanamane has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of telecommunication provider Broadband Infraco, the Department of Public Enterprises said on Wednesday.
Sejanamane has also been appointed as an ex officio member of the Board of Broadband Infraco (Infraco). She is a former chief marketing and sales officer at Broadband Infraco. She had also worked at MTN SA from August 2008 to 2011.
"The appointment of the CEO is one of the final building blocks being put into place to re-establish the leadership team at Infraco under the guidance of a re-vitalised and re-energised board, which was appointed last year and who the minister commends for the diligent and enthusiastic manner in which they have performed their duties to date," said the department.
She holds a post graduate diploma in management from the Wits Business School as well a University of the Witwatersrand Bachelor of Science (hons) qualification.
